Welcome to “FP-067 Introduction to Digital Technologies and Design”. This unit is intended for foundation students to learn and apply fundamentals of various design applications (such as Illustrator and Photoshop to create, edit graphics / drawings) for professional use. Topics includes, fundamental 2D layout principles, developing vector and pixel based images for on screen (web) and print, color theory, typography, graphic file formats, and resolution. This unit provides an integrated approach to media studies units together with the other foundation units.
